Out of the Blue

Yesterday I was startled when the BlueTower began shaking to its foundation to the beat of a pounding coming from out front. The guys working on our walk inexplicably dumped some concrete in our walkway unrelated to paving it last week, which needed to be dug out before they could do their real work. I was expecting them to do this yesterday, but what I didn't expect was that they would use a backhoe as a sledgehammer to break through the sheet of cement. And I thought the jackhammers were bad! Apparently they were done with the house-shaking part of the job just as I got out to discuss this with them, so I wasted a perfectly good tantrum. Oh well, it's good to keep in practice.

Saruman: Together, my lord Sauron, we shall rule this BlueTower. The old world will burn in the fires of industry. Forests will fall. A new order will rise. We will drive the machine of war with the sword and the spear and the iron fist of the orc.

Blue, between dentistry and jackhammering (what's the difference, really?) it's a wonder you keep any semblance of sanity by now... how do you do it?
