The Warhammer Online
Video Interview on AtomicGamer is a fun video that peppers Mythic's Paul
Barnett with questions about their upcoming MMORPG, including talking about the
lessons learned from beta testing, what differentiates WAR from WoW, an
explanation of PvP (that's "labeled" an explanation of RvR), accessibility, a
humorous rundown on the game's overall appeal, and more.

I haven't heard anything about any DRM but then what MMO has had suckurom?
Anyway, at one point I had the CE pre-ordered but I dropped that when they cut the content a couple of months ago. I got into guild beta and have enjoyed playing it. The PvP is easily better than WoW's was at the time I left WoW a couple of years ago. I don't know what WoW has done to improve PvP but I'm fairly sure they haven't added any sort of sieges.
Collision in PvP makes this game much better than the competition. I've been a part of a keep defense with an all Dwarven guild where, after the enemy got the gates open, we had a line of IronBreakers block the gate and the enemy couldn't get through. We wiped them out while the IBs held the line.
PvP in WAR is incredibly fun, group oriented, and objective oriented. Being objective oriented is important as you don't end up with Southshore PvP where one side is hiding in their town and letting the guards do all the work for them. In WAR if you do that then the other side will own all the battle objectives, get more renown, etc. So the objectives discourage being a pansy which was a major problem in WoW.
