Questions: Firaxis' Sid Meier on GameDaily has a quick sit-down with the
developer. One of the questions concerns one of his beloved offspring:
"Electronic Arts owns the rights to Alpha Centauri, and we do get lots of
requests from fans to make a new version. I don't know what EA plans to do
with it, but we would certainly love to make a new Alpha Centauri for
today's gamers."

Q&A
with the PCGA: In defense of PC gaming on CNET is a Q&A with Randy
Stude, main stud at the PC Gaming Alliance (he also works for some outfit
called Intel, or something). the conversation includes a pretty frank
discussion of the issues from having so many competing business interests
involved. He also mentions his understanding that Valve, a noteworthy
non-participant in the program, will be joining "at the right time."
