I don't know about that. I'm on an XP install right now that's over 4 years old and still performing rock solid. I could count on one hand the blue screens I've gotten. Vista to me is just not worth it. I doubt whatever they do in version 7 will be either. The only thing that concerns me is DX10 .. maybe I should finally buy a console?
In any event .. I love XP.
edit: this quote from the article sums it up for me: "those same incompatibilities will exist in Windows 7"
I also don't get the concept of Windows 7 now. Is it like an expansion pack to Vista or is it an OS in it's own right. If the latter then why would systems that deploy Win7 from XP be subject to security risks?
