- Red Ocean
The
Red Ocean Q&A on
Gameguru Mania chats with Tobias Hoefle of Collision Studio about their
aquatic first-person shooter: "Red Ocean takes places inside a huge
underwater complex, originally built as a research facility by the Soviet
Union during the Cold War. As such it houses deep-sea mining facilities, an
enormous submarine harbor, a plasma power plant and much more. These
locations are connected by an intricate transport system and crisscrossed by
sprawling monorail trains. In the game's action-packed diving sequences, the
player explores the surroundings as well as flooded parts of the facility."
- Jagged Farm: Birth of a Hero
The
Jagged Farm: Birth of a Hero Q&A on Gameguru Mania talks with Yaroslav
Shklyar of Game Factory Interactive about Jagged Farm: Birth of a Hero,
their upcoming RTS game where you try and protect the world from invading
pigs by sending them to hog heaven: "We'll handle all the combat operations
in a completely 3D animated world. 90 per cent of our time we'll devote to
military actions. An army is formed before a mission that consists of
different detachments, such as a goat troop, mole and penguin troops and
many others. We enter the mission with this very army. If the detachment
loses a soldier, we can order reinforcements in case we have enough
resources. As a matter of fact, this system reminds the one you know from
such games as Company of heroes and Warhammer 40 k. Otherwise, if the
detachment is completely destroyed, we have nothing to replenish. Thus, our
task is to look after the troops and try not to lose them during the
mission."
