Battlefield 2142 Hotfix

A hotfix is now available for Battlefield 2142 to address an issue in DICE's military shooter sequel following the recent version 1.05 patch that causes crashes in Titan Mode. There is a new version 1.06 client patch, and new unranked dedicated servers for Windows and Linux. A full list of mirrors for all three downloads can be found on the Battlefield Franchise Website.

Battlefield 2142 doesn't carry over characters or plot, true. But it carries over the exact same technology. It's the same engine, same features, really nothing particulary new. But episodic gaming is turning everything into this. Half Life to Half Life 2 was a jump. Half Life 2 to Half Life Episode 1 to Half Life Episode 2... same stuff. Why don't you compare an apple and an orange while you're at it? Single players games are always going to play differently from that of pure multiplayer or MMO's. Come on, man, you should know this.
