Out of the Blue

We are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel in the incredibly lengthy process of upgrading the water mains in our area that has left our street torn up for more than a year now. The good news is they are getting ready to pave things over. The bad news is that they are scoring the existing pavement now to prepare for this, so what had been a road with potholes and ditches and such, but now it's like a gigantic asphalt nail file. Oh well, as long as they are done soon.
