It's actually hot in my office if you stand more than three feet from the air conditioner… this is such a naturally cool house, but it would be a magic trick to have a cool attic. I have a theory why the breaker on the circuit plug trips in the evenings but not during the day: I think heightened electrical demand when people get home and turn on their own ACs causes voltage fluctuations that may appear to the breaker as line faults. Next time it happens I'll take a look at the voltage readings on my UPS software.
