Free DoD: Source Weekend Coming

A new Steam Update (thanks Frans) promises some new announcements from Valve in the coming weeks, and also promotes next weekend as another chance to check out Day of Defeat: Source for free:

If you still haven't purchased Day of Defeat: Source, you'll get a chance to play the new maps in about a week, as we'll be having a second Day of Defeat: Source Free Weekend. The second free weekend will commence at 1:00 p.m. Pacific time on July 7th, and conclude at 1:00 p.m Pacific time on July 10th. We're looking forward to seeing you all there.

It says weekend .. which is 3 days.

If you are refering to "you'll get a chance to play the new maps in about a week" , it means that you will be able to try the new map , in a about a weeks time from now. Not for a week.
You simply misunderstood.

BTW don't knock the metric system .. it's far superior to "that other" measurement system.
