NecroVisioN Unveiled

The Farm 51 Website has a vague tease of their next project, referencing "a first person action horror game using highly enhanced Painkiller technology." Now PR manager Jakub Oszczepaliński sends along the revelation that the title of this game is NecroVisioN, saying "I’m sure that this will be one of the best next-gen shooters coming in 2006." Here's what they are revealing at this point:

The year is 1916. Young American joins UK Army to survive the adventure of his life and soon realizes that greater evil is hiding beneath the Great War storm. He has to face the underground world of vampires, demons, evil genius creatures and even became one of the demons to rescue the human and vampire kind from forces of darkness.

NecroVisioN is a next-gen First Person Shooter that starts in the rage battlefields of World Word I and leads player to much darker and brutal underground world of vampires and demons.

I guess they want to avoid disappointment at a trite plot twist by ensuring that it doesn't come as a surprise. I'm not sure how that helps their cause overall, but hey. I'll give any game the benefit of the doubt, but that could definitely have been better-written. "Evil genius creatures", eh? Oh, and Blue: is it actually worth mentioning that their PR Manager thinks it will be great?! This comment was edited on Jun 10, 03:52.
