A demo for Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter is now available, offering the chance to sample GRIN's PC edition of the latest installment in the squad-based shooter series. The demo offer two missions from the full game and includes multiplayer support. The download is available on 3D Downloads, 3D Gamers, Boomtown (registration required), Computer Games, eXp Download, FileNuts, Gameguru Mania, Gamer's Hell, GameSpot (registration required), Gameswelt, VGPRO, Strategy Informer, and Worthplaying.

Just finished the demo, and I have to agree with a lot of the points here. It's great fun, and its good to see the AI actually be useful. They are extremely good at finding appropriate cover by themselves, but its funny how they run out in the middle of the street if you manually order them to cover :}. My gripes about not having multiple-stage-execute plans aside, it works pretty well. I actually am kind of glad my team didnt stay close when following too, because I had gone silencer and I hate it when stupid teammates blow your cover in other games. Overall not bad, but I have to say that not having a rich tactical menu really turns me off, I hate micromanaging my team while trying to fight at the same time, its just not agile enough.
