Monolith scaring up new F.E.A.R.s on GameSpot has news that the horror-themed shooter experience of F.E.A.R. will continue even if Monolith's relationship with VU Games does not (Monolith was purchased by WBIE during development of F.E.A.R.). A possible publisher change does signal the possibility that the follow-up may carry a different tile (F.R.I.G.H.T.?), which seems to represent an interesting fracture for the franchise: Monolith's game will involve the Intellectual Property (characters, etc.), which they still own, and VU Games is rumored to be planning to continue using the title, which they own, for follow-ups of their own.
