For the love of god blue... The "300 AD Annouces" news post should have gotten it's own posting by itself. Now it's buried with a bunch of other postings and a perfect opportunity to have another flame war about/with Derek Smart is most probably averted. Anyway. I'm going to say thank god Derek Smart is developing for consoles. He might get away from making PC games. But based on Derek's desire to make complex games, I don't see how console gamers can interest Derek Smart. Given that console games aren't very complex generally speaking. Maybe Derek is just going for a fast buck. I really hope you keep the console gamers in mind when developing your console games.
