Hammer & Sickle Demo

A demo is now available for Hammer & Sickle, offering the chance to sample Nival Interactive's imminent Cold War-themed clunk-and-slash strategy/RPG. The demo features cut scenes and one full mission from the game. The 264 MB download is available on 3D Downloads, 3D Gamers, Boomtown (registration required), eXtreme-Players.de, Filecloud, FileFront, Gameguru Mania, Gamer's Hell, GameSpot, GZ Downloads, FileShack, VGPro, and Worthplaying.

I just downloaded the demo and i didnt think it was good at all.

It was too confusing by far. The least they could have done is included a tutorial in the demo, because it gets highly confusing.

I ran around the first map for literally 20 minutes before i realised that i had to press the "Leave" button to exit the level. Then when i get into the town, my guys didnt put their weapons away, i got into a shooting match and at one point my guys refused to fire. I didn't know if it was due to a lack of AP's or what, it didnt tell me.

Not only that, the load times are a bit long, the graphics aren't bad true, the AI is wierd beyond belief and not only that but the time it takes for the AI to do a turn is too long.

Sorry but this is a poor game for me. I'd stick to JA/DA/2 if i could. But i lost my JA2 cd and dont own the other two.
