Out of the Blue

It's getting colder and colder around these parts lately, with the accompanying rain not making things any more inviting outside. We are holding off as long as possible firing off the heat for the first time, as our heating bills were no pleasure before natural gas prices skyrocketed, so they will be staggering this year. So far we've been able to get by with sweaters and such, but that's going to end real soon. Brrrr.

OMG I had no idea that one could get so much damage to their feet just by running on hot tarmac like that. Keep in mind that the bottom of your feet are one of the most pampered parts of the human body. 99.9% of the time, you're either walking on something soft (carpet), along with socks and some kind of footwear... There are still people that wear no footwear year round in the world and that same stunt would barely affect them... -Alamar
