Out of the Blue

It seems we have some sort of plant growing somewhere in the backyard we have not encountered before. Hudson the wonder dog keeps return from forays into her mini-jungle with these little seed things all over her fur. I suspect they are sticky, they don't seem like burrs, and if there are hooks on these things, they are minute... These pods themselves aren't that big themselves... they look like caraway seeds. They are not much trouble to brush out of her, but it's getting old, as she is getting into them repeatedly. I think I may have to hunt this thing down and uproot it.

Doubt it will run well, especially if I never get around to shoving my 9800 pro (even after that, I still expect to run it at 800x600 or somesuch). I'm currently playing F.E.A.R. with an a 9800 Pro and on the advice of others (thanks to all who helped!) I will be picking up a GeForce 6800GT to help improve the experience. Having said that, F.E.A.R. is playable with the 9800 Pro but, like you guessed, 800*600 is as high as you'll want to go with details set to medium. It really is a fun FPS mostly distinguished by the intensity of the gunfights and the excellent AI.
