F.E.A.R. Patch

The promised first patch for F.E.A.R. is now available, updating Monolith's first-person shooter to version 1.01. The update addresses some bugs and optimizes performance in the game, which should be appearing in stores today. The patch is available on 3D Gamers, Filecloud, FileFront, FilePlanet (registration required), Gameguru Mania, Gamer's Hell, GameSpot, VGPro, and Worthplaying.

They release a patch for the game already...so? The biggest problem I've seen listed was possibly falling through the map while pressing ESC on a ladder. And I've probably hit ESC while positioned on a ladder a dozen times; hasn't happened yet. Besides, for good the game runs right out of the box, the patch is more tweaks than anything else.
