We have a brief visit from the Smurfs today, so it seemed time to fire up the time machine again. I've actually been considering lately that doing Saturday morning updates in the wee Friday night/Saturday morning hours (like back in the loonyboi days) might be a better way to enjoy sleeping in on Saturday mornings than the way I've normally done so, which is by posting late Saturday afternoon...

Killer Kane

Saw both last night , Serenity was great ( never saw the show , never even heard about it when it was on - great marketing...) now I'l have to get the DVD. Funny how some of the dialogue syntax reminded me of Deadwood.Witty banter good FX , story & script ! Corpse Bride was not as good , I HATED Nightmare B/4 Xmas - too much Opera music-YECH....this one is much better , but the ham fisted songs ( Elfman is really starting to annoy me ) were intrusive and even with such stuningly creepy wierd visuals I found myself bored "If you were traveling in a vehicle at the speed of light , and you turned on your headlights...would they DO anything ?
