Out of the Blue

Weeds has been an interesting new series so far, naturally enough the show's buzz is quite strong. The new episode was a little wacky though; there's something about the characters that doesn't always ring true, and last night seemed to exhibit that weakness throughout. Hopefully it's just a speed bump... five episodes is a bit quick to go and Jump The Shark.

I won't try to have a scientific debate on Blue's News of all places, and much less one where I am limited to quoting people who understand the issues. I don't, and I won't pretend to do so. I'll leave this with a quote from the Wikipedia article titled "Attribution of recent climate change": The current best answer, as expressed by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and the National Academy of Sciences (NAS), is that the scientific view can be summed up roughly as most of the warming observed over the last 50 years is attributable to human activities.
