These 3 large screenshots were sent along (complete with watermarks!) by Thearrel 'Kiltron' McKinney (now of Futrix Studios) showing off the Quake II for DOOM 3 modification that will be released on The Mean Arena when complete.

I played that SP add-on he did for DooM3.... Trite Breeding Facility, I think... something like that, in any case... That was as good as anything in the retail game imo. I dowloaded the Quake 2 thingy a few months back and it was okay, but the same models from DooM3 and all, sort of left me cold. Still, I'm sure it will progress into something very cool. Good luck to him and anyone else that makes cool stuff for us to download and play!
