Well, Dr. Toothy wasn't as tough on me as I thought yesterday... after strapping me in and making all sorts of dire predictions, he just went ahead with a cleaning and a warning that I need to be more diligent with my home care, making plans to reevaluate this in a couple of weeks. I'm not going to say this was effective (L.A. Confidential: "Is that how you used to play 'good-cop-bad-cop'?"), but please forgive any errors I make as I learn to type and floss at the same time.

Heya nin. You know you have opened a can of worms don't ya? There are no aliens. People are aliens. You can't see it unless you can see it. People are also Angels, Demons, Vampires, Werewolves and Zombies. You can't see it unless you can see it. You know those aliens from Close Encounters of the Third kind? Those kinds of aliens. As you grow from a child to an adult, if you do what you are supposed to, you will look like that to other people who have evolved. OK, you won't look blue. But you will look like you have those exact big eyes and those long skinny arms and legs and fingers and toes. See? I am a good person. I will tell you anything I can that will help you become a better person in this life. I want all of you, even the ones stuck doing evils work. I think everyone has to do evil's work for a little while just so they know what evil really is. Then once they are finished playing with evil, you can tell them what they need to know to be good. That is when you want to talk to me. When you are finished with evil and ready to become good.
