Half-Life 2 Stutter Fix Tomorrow

The Half-Life 2 Stuttering Problem Website (thanks phoenix) has word from Valve's Erik Johnson that the cause of the Half-Life 2 stuttering issue (story) has been identified, and that a fix is expected "no later than tomorrow."

The only time I ever noticed a "stutter" is during or after a quicksave for about a second. Never considered it a bug. After checking out the video on that site and reading all the complaints from literally thousands of people, god fucking damn it must suck ass. It almost sounds like I'm one of the few people to have ZERO problems with Half Life 2 or Steam. Anyway, I just reached Black Mesa East on my second playthrough. Didn't spot the G-Man more than a couple times before, but now I counted no less than 4 sightings since the first level. Cleverly placed and kinda spooky, too.
