Out of the Blue

As of yesterday I still hadn't made up my mind how I was going to pick up Half-Life 2. Then I stopped in at Mr. Badwrench, the semi-competent service department at my local dealership to inquire about a tune-up and they fit me in today, so my soon-to-be temporarily pedestrian self went home and signed on for the Steam dealie. Through sheer force of will I am avoiding even checking out the game that sits unlocked on my game machine at this point for fear of missing the morning update due to some G-man conspiracy.

I think it's great! Now I don't have to feel guilty when I say I don't believe. I was born this way! It would be interesting if they deterined a link between these genes and the ones involved with aggression. It would go a long way towards explaining why religious indivduals throughout history have often been so murderous and justifying, even to this day, their violence inflicted upon other human beings due to the intolerance of their religious creeds. I've often wondered why many otherwise well-educated and intelligent people claim to be believers. This actually explains alot when you really think about it.
