CALABASAS HILLS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 9, 2004--THQ® Inc.
today announced that Full Spectrum Warrior™ PC has reached the gold master stage
of development and is entering manufacturing. Based on a light infantry-training
simulator designed by Pandemic Studios for the U.S. Army as a tool to reinforce
Army combat doctrine and squad tactics among troops, Full Spectrum Warrior is
scheduled to begin shipping to retailers worldwide on September 20, 2004(a).
"Full Spectrum Warrior is an original, tactical-action military game that
simulates the experience of squad command in the highly charged atmosphere of
urban warfare," said Josh Resnick, president, Pandemic Studios. "With the
critical and sales success of the Xbox version launched earlier this summer, we
are pleased to present the intense, tactical-action experience to PC player's
worldwide."
Developed on a parallel path with the Xbox version, the PC version of Full
Spectrum Warrior includes a number of game enhancements and features specific to
the PC version -- including 2 Bonus Levels, enhanced texture and graphic
resolution and an intuitive keyboard/mouse control scheme that has been
optimized for PC gamers.
