Administrator Appreciation Day. "A special day, once a year, to acknowledge
the worthiness and appreciation of the person occupying the role, especially as
it is often this person who really keeps the wheels of your company turning."

They said that last time around. Considering that the at least one of the justices in questions was/is rather conservative I would think if she really was going to retire she would have already. It's said pretty much every election because there are always some very elderly justices on the court. And while you may not choose to retire, the grim reaper may make your mind up for you (the forced retirement).
And yes, two of the four oldest justices are conservative (O'Conner, who I presume you are referring to, isn't nearly as conservative as Rehnquist), but I think that they're not nearly as conservative as the current administration is. I also believe that the SCJs are more aware of their position and the impact of retiring. While they may want someone of similar leanings to replace them, they also know that going too far to the left or right will be bad for the country.
It may be that if Kerry wins and we retain a significant Republican majority in the Senate then we'll see some retire -- since it's pretty much impossible to get anyone too far too one side or the other in under those circumstances.
But I'd bet that none of them retire by choice... it will probably take serious illness or death for some of them to leave. I just don't think they like the current political climate (we've gone through equally polarized times before; this is not unique; but we are highly polarized right now and that doesn't bode well for getting reasonable justices in place).
