Painkiller Patch

A new patch for Painkiller is now available, updating the first-person shooter from Polish developer People Can Fly to version 1.2. In addition to various tweaks and bug-fixes, the update also adds a pair of new multiplayer maps. A full change list can be found in the DreamCatcher Forums, and the 86 MB download can be found on 3D Gamers, ActionTrip, Computer Games Online, FileFront, FileShack (registration required), Fragland.net, Gamer's Hell, and Worthplaying.

Everyone told me the last level was so spectacular that I plodded through the game to finish it. The last level is cool from a level design perspective, but it's one of the most annoying/unfun boss fights I've ever played through in a first person shooter.
