New Kali

A new release of Kali was issued last week, updating the old-school server browser to version 2.610. A new stand-alone version is available, as well as a patch for previous editions of the program.

It was the first to efficiently connect gamers online BEFORE the games themselves supported it. It can turn a LAN-only multiplayer game into an internet/online game. It was used by many in the old days. I'm surprised it's still around.

These days, I imagine it's best use over the other browsers is it's ability to do what I described above. That's why it supports online connections for well over 300 games.

So if you really must play one of the old games online, then maybe you want Kali. The list of games supported is at: http://www.kali.net/games.asp
