S2 Games and iGames announce plans to begin beta testing some free add-ons for Savage, the FPS/RTS hybrid. Here's the deal:

Hoboken, NJ (November 3, 2003) – Developer S2 Games and iGames Publishing today announced that registration has begun for a new round of beta testing for Savage: The Battle for Newerth. Testers will be asked to play and evaluate the first in a series of free major content updates for the hugely popular online multiplayer game. To sign up, please visit http://beta.s2games.com.

This first round of the new Savage beta test will include new units and structures, new network code, new upgrades, patches and enhancements. The developers are seeking experienced Savage players as well as those who have not yet tried out the game in order to compile a broad range of opinion and suggestions. Anyone who was in the previous beta test must register again.
