Today is the Summer Solstice, longest day of the year. This might have been an appropriate day for me to have seen The Hulk, rather than yesterday, because I found it more than a bit tedious myself. I really appreciate Ang Lee's efforts at creating an introspective psycho-drama rather than an action-fest, I wouldn't have had it any other way. But, I feel he drew things out to a painful degree, and that any efforts at creating a movie that seems cerebral were completely obliterated by one of the worst examples of illogical "why would anyone ever do that?" I can ever recall in a movie. Oh well, at least it makes for a good punch line: you won't like me when I'm Ang Lee...
