Chances for 'Fat Tax' Approval Look Slim (thanks HomeLAN Fed) has word on a tax plan here in the state of New York that would attempt to jumpstart fitness initiatives by taxing things the politician behind the proposal feels contribute to a growing obesity problem, which includes video games. The article suggests chances of passage are slim for the fat tax, which would also impact junk food and television commercials, because it is not being supported by the assembly's majority leader.
