Middle Earth Online Tease

GameSpyDaily has a story up teasing the announcement of Middle Earth Online tomorrow, saying more details on the planned MMO Tolkien game will be made available tomorrow, and that the game will be shown off "behind closed doors" at E3. What they are revealing for the time being is that the game is expected sometime in 2004.

Sierra did. They also sent me a box full of stuff when it was cancelled (a gandalf doll, fridge magnets etc) as well as a lot of babylon5 gear. Very interested in seeing if this game will use a lot of the ICE stuff. For those of you not familiar with ICE, there are literally thousands of pages of pen and paper roleplaying sourcebooks that are EXTREMELY well made. If this stuff is used as the basis for the game then game content alone will blow every other MMORPG out of the water content wise. We're talking about REAL adventuring, not the mindless hack and slash of EQ. This comment was edited on May 9, 12:14.
