Painkiller Preview & Movies

Feel the Pain on Computer and Video Games is the second hands-on preview of Painkiller, the upcoming shooter from Polish developer People Can Fly. Based on getting to play with a pre-alpha build of the game, they offer impressions of gameplay, along with some movies in Windows Media Player format. Here's a hint of the flavor of this game: "Right from the off, it's obvious that Painkiller certainly is an all-action first-person shooter much like Serious Sam - albeit with a darker atmosphere. Enemies are thrown at you in a numerous and constant manner, meaning continuous use of the trigger finger on a gun with a bit of an H.R. Giger thing going on."

World war 3

Looks great, the way these undead are thrown off by the impact of that raw-sounding machine gun. It's a good thing it's still ways off. I'm only getting my new pc when Doom3 is released (..before this one?).
