Psychic phenomenon, or just dumb luck? I drifted off on the couch last night and
didn't make it into bed. This had the expected side effect of a slightly
irritated wife and an even more irritated back this morning, but it also turned
out to be a stroke of luck, as it turns out there was a small pile of puke that
Hudson the wonder dog had neatly deposited on my side of the bed that we didn't
notice until this morning. So of course, had I wandered into bed in the dark of
night, chances are I would have had an especially unpleasant surprise to deal
with. And since vomiting on the furniture is considered an even greater
transgression that spending the night on the couch, Hudson has even replaced me
as prime resident in the dog house. Good doggie!
