Hitman 2 Backlash

The SikhNet News' Hitman 2 Video Petition (thanks Computer and Video Games) looks to inspire a recall of Hitman 2. Here's the deal: "SikhNet has partnered with thirty-five Sikh organizations around the globe to demand that video game publisher, Eidos Interactive, recall one of its games from the market. The game, Hitman 2, incites racism and hatred against Sikhs and Dalits by linking them to terrorism. The game glorifies violence against Sikhs within a Gurdwara that looks like the Harmander Sahib, also known as the Golden Temple, while Dalits are portrayed as followers of an evil cult leader, according to a vivid description that was recently removed by Eidos from its web site."

"let's make a game about a guy who enters your family's home at night, puts a .45 through your father's head while he sleeps, rapes your mother after he guts her throat and then penetrates your 9 year old sister's backdoor. Let's put this game on every Best Buy, Future Shop and EB store shelf that we can find so that some rich guys can make even more money off this disgusting game at your expense.

I would find that video game VERY disturbing and would sue if it were my family taken as the subject matter, and I am sure you would find it disturbing as well. If you don't find it disturbing and offensive and don't get angry then there must be something wrong with you."

hell if it was fun. id play. ?? who gives a fuck... some people live in reality and can understand that games are just games. others on the other hand cant. and go out killing people.

same goes for a 'crash into the wtc game'..

why not?...im sure it would be entertaining if it was a simulation of hitman in the cabin style then ms flight sim flying styles to crash..

mmm maybe i should talk to some game developers

so what if it in some obscure way portrays the sikh
