An Army of One Big Price Tag

It has been commented more than once that the "free" price tag on America's Army, the upcoming Unreal engine Army game/recruiting tool, is relative, since it is being paid for by tax dollars. Now Army gets into game development business on CNN Money places a figure on the development budget of the game, said to be currently around $7 Million, offering a bit of detail about the planning and concept behind the game, and even providing a reaction from the president of Americans for Tax Reform.

9. math time! Jun 3, 2002, 13:54 anon@80.103

ok. lets do some math. 7,000,000 divided by 250,000,000 people (280,000,000 people live in america but lets just say that 250,000,000 pay taxes) 7000000 / 250000000 = 0.028.
that means of all the taxes u pay, including sales tax, 30 cents goes to this game. and thats only if they stay within their budget.
