DOOM III Video

A ShakyCam video of the DOOM III presentation at E3 became available online earlier today. True to its nature, the video is rather shaky and occasionally blatantly uncentered, but image and sound quality are decent, and the ten minute DivX clip (46.1 MB) offers a fair insight into the gameplay, environment, weapons and monsters that were demonstrated at the show by id Software. Update: It turns out videos of DOOM III were not allowed to be released, which we weren't aware of at the time of posting. Therefore the download links have been removed from this news story.

everyone questioning DOOM III's moddability have you actualyl seen the clips online? been reading the previews?

they made it very clear that the map editor is actually part of the main game executable, they are one and the same, as you will find on the CD/DVD when you have it in your eager hands

that's a point point actually, DVD i hope if it's big , and thinking of q3 being on CD, RCTW being 2, with all those extra textures , bump maps etc it's bound to be more, I'm sick of multi disk releases, who hasn't got a dvd drive these days, you can get one for $20 ...

anyway, back to the main point...there is no question at this time about it's customizability :

DOOM III will make you it's plaything, then you will make it yours.

=)
