Unreal 2 Engine Rainbow Six III?

Following their previous speculative story earlier today, Ghost Recon Retreat has another blurb up about the possible future of the Rainbow Six series. The latest scoop, citing an article in Xbox magazine, says the Xbox version of the game will be powered by the Unreal II engine, leading to speculation that the PC version will as well. Neither a PC nor an Xbox version of Rainbow Six III has actually been officially announced.

Well, here's the actual quote: http://www.fgnonline.com/pc/news/17147.html And it was just based on the PlayStation2, but considering the power available between the consoles is relatively similar, I don't see much reason why the Xbox would be able to handle it and the PS2 couldn't, aside from someone who doesn't want to put the effort into a port. And I think it's practically a guarantee that the GameCube won't see a port, much to my dismay - One of the selling points of this game would be multiplayer, and it doesn't look like Nintendo even wants multiplayer on its console. Pooh.
