Medal of Honor Demo News & Date

The Medal of Honor Allied Assault Website has some information about their upcoming single-player demo on this page, which, in a Band of Brothers vein will be your unit's assignment on D-Day +1. As has been previously mentioned in the FAQ (story) the demo will be available on the cover mount CD on the February issue of Computer Gaming World as well as for those who pre-order the full game at Electronics Boutique or GameStop. In addition to this single-player demo, there are also plans to release a Medal of Honor multiplayer demo later this month (story). Finally, regarding the game's release date, they have this to say: "It's official. The full retail version of Medal of Honor Allied Assault is scheduled to ship on January 22, 2002."

... so I have to buy a magazine or the full game to play the demo? I play demos to see if I want to spend money not spend money to play demos. I hope the demo will eventually make its way to the net?
