13. Re: Feds and warrants Mar 19, 2013, 20:11 Axis

Obama is a liberal socialist through and through -- I'm aware it's easier to swallow if broken democratic policies are masked with the opposition flavor, but he's the purist form of a liberal. We could argue it, but it's so sickening obvious to those who don't bow down to him or their 'party' of choice (not saying you do, but a shitload of dolts out there sure do).

While there's truth to what you say about the legislative branch, the reason is because Obama wants to continue his "Do what I say cause I refuse to compromise" bullshit, and Americans will continue to elect officials who will stand up to that kind of garbage regardless of perception - also common throughout history.

I'm quite sick of both parties for many reasons quite different than common talking points. The Republicans are stuck in the 80's, have a serious identity crisis, are spineless way too often, and are unwilling to budge from complacency. Liberals have the most forked tongues in the history of politics, it's a daily barrage of lies, excuses, finger pointing and insults to the point of nausea.

I lean conservative in the libertarian view. Pot should be legal, abortions should be outlawed, government should keep its hands out more often than put them in - that pretty much the only subjects I'm absolutely unwavering on -- I don't judge based on "party", we're all somewhere in the middle at the end of the day if we're not bought and sold party elitists. Regardless of the past political climate, the USA was built on citizens and immigrants coming here to succeed for themselves, which in turn helped out country succeed in greater depth than any country in history. We're now a soft excuse-riddled nation that is embarrassed to admit faults or be proud of what we were, are, and could be.
