The Bungie Website states that Destiny is the title of the upcoming non- Halo project from Bungie, confirming repeated rumors and even some details. Speaking of details, there are none to speak of at the moment, so whether or not this is an MMOFPS as has been speculated is not confirmed, and there's still no word on target platforms for the developer's first project since their emancipation from Microsoft. They say this will change in "a matter of days" when we get a "first glimpse" at their "brave new world." In the meantime they offer links to new social pages for the game on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+.

1badmf wrote on Feb 12, 2013, 17:28: hah wow. even with literally zero information the blues crowd finds something to gripe about, nevermind that it's about a company that's made some of the finest games in gaming history. Do you honestly believe Halo is one of the finest games in history? Are you one of those people who believe that sales numbers don't lie? Are you emotionally involved with the story of Master Chief? Do you believe that Halo was the first quality FPS title ever released? Did you play any FPS titles on the PC before Halo was released? here's a question for you: did YOU play any PC games before halo? here's another one: did i mention halo anywhere in my post?
apparently you know dogshit about bungie's history as an innovative gaming company if all you can dredge up from your puny mind is halo. and not that it matters, but yes i do think halo is all that, and it has nothing to do with numbers. halo was a game changer when it came out, and all your crying about it doesn't change that fact. i won't bother listing any since you've already proven your irrational hatred without me ever bringing it up, and you'd just grasp for reasons to minimize anything its done anyway.
i never understood why people hated halo so much, or any game for that matter. it's just. A. GAME. it's like hating gays for ruining marriage. solution; just fucking avoid it! I can tell I hit a nerve. But you're right -- Halo was a game changer when it came out... but it had nothing to do with the game's quality. |
