Wouldn't be surprised to see both do 6 months from announce to release this time. Less cannibalization. The 360 was announced at that year's E3, but there had been a lot of pre-E3 sneak peeks and such, right? We know about its specs and what it was going to look like etc long before that year's E3. So far we've really not heard much beyond the "Well, duh, there's going to be a new console by MS (and by Sony.)"
I guess on the flipside, they can't give Nintendo too much of a headstart.
