Today is Yom Kippur, which began at sundown last night. This is a day of atonement, so "happy" Yom Kippur is not appropriate: I think the proper sentiment is to wish all of you commemorating this a good an easy fast. While this is not my holiday, I'm sure I have some atoning to do, so I'll try to keep this in mind along the way.

Of course, Obama could just repeal the Ethanol mandate, but then gas goes up. (It should go up by about 35 cents, but I guarantee the oil companies will manage to turn that into a buck fifty price hike.)
The BETTER thing to do would be to invest the hundreds of billions of dollars required to create proper irrigation systems for the corn belt, but doing the better and long-term thing always seems to elude the US, for some reason. (Keep putting those power poles above the ground, fellas! It's not as if tornadoes and thunderstorms take them out at a rate of a few dozen a day!)
Creston Obama has already said he likes high gas prices, helps push his green agenda and ideas for creating things like carbon taxes for the manufactored global warming schtick the libs have going for themselves. |
