The Ghost Recon Online Website announces the promised open beta test for the online military shooter (thanks melinn). This includes word that as part of this they are adding weekly missions: We're kicking off OB with the first of many weekly missions: Eagle Eye. The goal this week - maintain an accuracy of 15% over 5 matches and you will earn a rare Mark IV armor insert. These missions and their goals will change every week providing new and exciting challenges for you to overcome. Learn more about this mission and other events on our event detail page.

You need a uplay account, but not the client. That being said I've uninstalled this game twice (closed beta and open beta). It's pretty, decent idea, handles well... and it amazingly biased towards a defender. The problem is that it's in 3rd person perspective, so when a defender is hiding behind a wall (or door or car) they can move their camera angle to see what's ahead of them. When you're attacking they pop up, bang and kill you. |
