The Guild Wars 2 Facebook Page announces plans for a four-hour stress test today for Guild Wars 2, though this may not be a smooth experience due to how they are doing this (thanks VG247). Here's word: We will be conducting a stress test on Thursday, August 2 from 12:00 Noon PACIFIC Time to 4:00 PM PACIFIC Time.
Unlike previous stress tests, we will be actively working on the game during the event, so you might experience connectivity problems or discover features that are not working as designed. Any issues you experience are a result of the rigorous conditions of the stress test, and are in no way representative of the state of the game at launch. By participating in this stress test, you’re helping us make Guild Wars 2 a better game. Thanks for your cooperation—we’ll see you in-game! ~RB2

Won't change this time round, there's a bozo or two on every corner... I'll still do my best to inform. I'm not sure if you intended that to make you sound like a blowhard but uh, yeah wow. The honorable public servant who has his finger on the pulse of gamers everywhere. I'm sure like any game Guild Wars 2 will have its fan and detractors but acting like people who don't share your opinion are bozos is just immature tripe. You misquoted me on purpose? Here's my "QUOTE"
While in D3 I spent plenty of time pointing out it's issues, but still kiddyfanbois like Bozonac came out with zero substance, blind enthusiasm, and nothing but troll value. Won't change this time round, there's a bozo or two on every corner... I'll still do my best to inform. I'm calling out the only bozo who's one line has no arguments for or against, just an insult.
THATS the guy who deserves no respect.
But yes, I've been around and am not afraid to speak candidly. Sure not everyone shares the same opinion, that's life. but I also don't sugar coat and sit in the backroom hoping no one comes along and hurts my feelings. Nor do I cater to those who do.
Got an argument against what I'm saying, I'm all ears! You can't really argue against what you are saying because you are just stating your opinion. You come off as supremely arrogant in your post, which is enforced by your user information.
In my opinion, GW2 takes what has come before and polishes it. They get rid of the ridiculous "holy trinity" of RPGs and let people play what they want. They get rid of the need to compete with people who are supposed to be your allies, and instead everyone benefits from helping each other, even outside of a formal group. They also improved upon WARs open world events, because when WAR cleared out it became impossible to do any open world events at low levels because there was nobody to do them with. GW2 scales them back so fewer people can still succeed.
And they have Charr. Which are awesome. So says a gamer who has "been around." |
