And you knew you were screwed when you entered a room and was told that 70 percent of the room was in disarray. That meant that the Alien had just past there, so you better get the hell out of dodge.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_xb4caM6ms Interesting! So the whole game is like that? Oh yeah. Your crew is scattered throughout the ship and not every room has the same items. I think I caught Jones the cat once with the net and cat carrier.
And I have never beaten it. In fact, up until today, I did not realize one could kill the Alien using the weapons or that the synthetic was working against you. I assumed you needed to follow the movie-line and self destruct the ship and/or force it out of the airlock. Ha, now you need to go replay it in a C64 machine/emulator.
Too bad Aliens Online was short lived. I would want to try that. Some players as marines and some as aliens. That would be rad. FOX should try that again. Make it like Natural Selection game! |
