A new trailer from the upcoming continuation of the SimCity series shows off the power of the GlassBox Game Engine that will power the game, which is due next year. Word is: "SimCity Gameplay Lead Dan Moskowitz describes the concepts of Resources, Units, Maps, and Agents and how they affect the complex simulation behind SimCity."

Actually, I see why people here aren't that impressed. I hadn't watched this trailer yet, and was instead going off of the demos they gave at GDC. This trailer is a bit jumbled and doesn't really get across what the GlassBox engine does, or how it works. These 4 videos are much longer and in-depth, detailing much better how this stuff works: One Two Three Four
