Anno 2070 Content Update

The Ubisoft Forums announce the first content update is now available for Anno 2070, the recently released strategy sequel (thanks Gamer's Hell). This "New Eden" package is focused on a persistent economy, and unlocks the game's new in-game shop, which offers the chance to purchase new premium content. There are a number of other additions and changes as well, which are outlined in the Steam news article on the topic. Word is: "The Eden Initiative wants the player to settle a new sector without decreasing its eco balance in order to create a new utopia. Fulfilling the world event generates access to the former technology, which needs to be developed in the academy afterwards. This powerful tool will have a very positive effect on the ecobalance."
