Again, though, these guys aren't what people fear in SOPA. People fear SOPA will go after some high school kid uploading a music video on his personal site, or Wikipedia having a screenshot of a film.

I don't see how anyone can say taking down Megaupload, a corporation likely worth near a billion dollars, owned by a few millionaires, flagrantly bragging about existing solely for piracy, is what they feared SOPA would lead to.

If they had gone after someone involved in bittorrent it would have been bad - that's mostly non-profits and has very valid uses. Megaupload was set up solely to profit off of piracy. Its employees said this. Repeatedly.

Sorry beamer but I don't give a fuck about your supposed proofs, that's what a coyrt is for, to see what's true or not. Do the guys look like slimeballs? Yes. Could they have done crimes? A court of law with juries will sort that out.

However I will not support corporate lapdogs who are so eager to see these guys punished when that means that due process is thrown out of the window.

We know you will defend your precious corporations as if they were all innocent always beamer, but fuck off if you think that any sane person will support their arrests at the cost of losing due process. Copyright was meant to be enforced only by their private holders, losing due process and having tge law do the work of fucking corporations at the cost of civil libertiesis not worth the wet dreams of corporate lapdogs.

So no, if it means regaining due process, I won't support this arrest even if they are guilty. Due process is more importamt than the whiny bark of some fuckers who have a self-entitlement case of massive proportions.

You appear to be ranting against things that Beamer doesn't mention.
