WOW Verno,you truly are stupid.
I didn't brow beat anyone, I simply stated that placing logic on an illogical game of investing in a hype stock like Groupon is missing the point entirely of what the stock market is about. This will also apply to Facebook, do they actually make anything? Are they worth 500 billion as some say? Or Google, at $600 a share, for what?
THAT is what I am getting at. I don't gamble in Vegas, maybe a few times, but walked away, usually at a small loss ($50), but had fun.
Do you think Vegas built a billion dollar casino because they offer a fair and logical game to their "clients"? No, not at all.
MAN I hope you can grasp this..... seriously doubt it but I'm trying.
BTW I bought VMWare day one, at $50, sold at $82 two days later, it eventually went to $114. Why did I sell? I thought the virtual offering, mostly free, from MS and Citrix would deflate VMWare's offerings. It didn't, but I still made cash because the hype was astounding for weeks.
