Out of the Blue

This morning on Howard Stern they measured one of their staff who claimed to be 5'10" tall, and found him to be under 5'9". A woman called in an said men always exaggerate their heights, and guys who are 5'10" round up to six feet. This echoes something a friend recently told me, which is somehow the first I've heard of this, and it explains why almost every time I tell someone I am 5'10" they tell me they think I am taller. Okay, it's official, I declare myself to be six feet tall, claiming the intentional inaccuracy is for accuracy's sake.

I say I'm 6'1" because if I say 6', my actual height, people assume I'm an "optimistic" 5'10".

I hate Cracked.com links in OotB. I'll read the article and then re-read some of the articles they link to and so on. It's like Wikipedia, but with snarky humour.
